Blackrock College and Loreto Abbey Dalkey are proud to present the musical ‘Oliver’ in the Jubilee Hall from Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th of April. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm kickoff. Written by Charles Dickens, it is a tale set in Victorian London, about a poor orphan who escapes a workhouse only to find himself amidst a gang of young city pickpockets led by the devious crook Fagin. It is a show for all the family, with performances promising to be memorable on every level. Famous sing-along numbers such as ‘Food, Glorious Food’, ‘Consider Yourself’ and ‘You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two’ will feature in each evening’s show. You want more? More!? 1st Year iPad deployment will take place in school on Tuesday 23rd August.

Congratulations to Claire Brennan, Cara Kirwan, Ellen Morgan and Eve Brennan who performed excellently in the Order of Malta's Leinster Regional First Aid Competition. Claire won first prize in the individual girls First Aid competition. Cara Kirwan, Ellen Morgan and Eve Brennan came first in the team First Aid competion. And finally, they were all part of a team which came first in the foot drill competition and all will now progress to the National Championship in July.

Well done to the Junior A Hockey team who were finalists in both the Loreto League and the South Dublin League and who represented us so well in their final against Loreto Foxrock yesterday.

Congratulations to Rachel Cullen, Laura and Olivia Ni Fhearraigh and Rachel Fox who are part of a trad group playing at a civil event in City Hall.

Huge congratulations to the 1st year B's who won the Loreto Hockey Championships yesterday. And congratulations to the 1st Year A's who came joint 2nd in the Loreto Hockey League.

Huge congratulation to Mollie O Reilly who came 1st in the 400M sprints Congratulations also to Christina O Connor who came 3rd in the 100M sprints.

All those who wish to take part in the East Leinster on the 27th and 28th of April MUST ATTEND athletic trials on April the 21st in Charlesland athletics stadium. A bus will leave from school at 4:00 and will return to Dalkey at 6;30. All students are welcome. Please bring €7 for the bus. Any student who would like to practice Shot putt, Discus, Javelin or Hammer we will have an open trial on Wednesday the 20th from 3:30 - 5:00. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
