The Young Entrepreneur Awards Night took place on Thursday January 28th. It was a great opportunity to celebrate the work of all our Young Entrepreneurs. After a few tough interview questions and a very tense deliberation session, the following students were announced as the winners and runners up in this year’s competition.

Junior Category:

Brush Up - Siobhra Hurley & Rebecca Johnston (Winners)

Sweet Snow Cone – Ella Fenlon & Sadbh O’Farrell (2nd Place)

Piece of Cake – Niamh O’Hara & Jennifer O’Rourke (3rd Place)

Intermediate Category:
Lunch Money – Lucy Bracken & Niamh Murray (Winners of Intermediate Category and overall Young Entrepreneur Prize)
Senior Category:
Bright as a Button – Marina Boyle (Winner)
Bits & Stitches – Romy O’Connor & Alice De Leeuw (2nd Place)

Catholic Schools Week was celebrated in the school from February 1st to 5th. It is a celebration of our catholic identity. The First and Second year students marked the week by celebrating class Masses in the convent Chapel with our sacramental Chaplain, Fr. Patrick Devitt.

We also created a ‘Door of Mercy’ which will be used in the coming weeks as we mark the Catholic Church’s Year of Mercy in 2016:
